Evening primrose oil and black cumin oil are obtained by pressing the seeds. Evening primrose oil contains 65-75% linoleic acid and γ-linolenic acid. Black cumin oil also contains other fatty acids and secondary plant substances which can have a positive influence on the organism. Vitamin A contributes to a normal function of the immune system and Vitamin E contributes to protecting the cells from oxidative stress. The combination of evening primrose oil and black cumin oil with vitamins A and E opens up a wide range of possible applications. A high content of omega-6-fatty acids (up to 75% linoleic acid) distinguishes evening primrose oil from other vegetable oils. Black cumin oil is rich in various unsaturated fatty acids. A positive effect only occurs above 10 g linoleic acid. The high content of γ-linolenic acid distinguishes the evening primrose oil from all other frequently used edible fats.
