From the evening primrose (Oenothera biennis), the precious oil of the seeds is used. The omega-6 fatty acids contained in the oil can help maintain the skin's protective acid mantle so that moisture can be better stored. It is also very suitable for treating itchy skin. The fatty acids contained in the oil have an anti-inflammatory and calming effect. Skin redness can fade, too, in short: the overall skin appearance is improved.

As the oil is mild and very well tolerated, it is also suitable for allergy sufferers. Evening primrose oil can therefore also be used for neurodermatitis (atopic eczema) and psoriasis.
