The oil of Fish Oil Capsules Biofrid is gained from deep sea fish and contains unsaturated fatty acids (the so-called omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA). The substitution of saturated fatty acids by mono and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in the nutrition contributes to the maintenance of a normal cholesterol level in the blood. The human organism is unable to sufficiently produce them itself, therefore they have to be ingested with food. With a daily intake of 250 mg DHA the positive effect of the maintenance of a normal brain function and vision sets in. With a daily intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA the positive effect of the maintenance of a normal heart function sets in.
