Essential Oil Blend for Colds – Bacterial Secretion Infection + Mucous Congestion

50 ml jojoba
10 dr. essential oil of rosemary (Rosmarinus off. c.t. verbenon, 5ml)
10 dr. essential oil of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora, 10ml)
  6 dr. essential oil of peppermint (Mentha piperita, 10ml)
  4 dr. essential oil of marjoram (Origanum majorana, 5ml)

Please note, that this blend includes single bottles of each respective oil and that it is not a finished blend.

Rub a few drops of this blend around the sternum 1-2x daily, or have someone rub it onto your back, e.g. at bedtime. The volatile components of the oil are released by the warmth of the skin and can thus be inhaled and directly enter the airways.
Furthermore, they are absorbed by the skin and work systemically. Application may also be done prophylactically, if there is a high risk of infection in the surroundings.
 

Caution: Do not use on children (<8 y.) and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding!

Essential oils should never be applied undiluted, always mix it with a carrier oil (carrier substance).
If possible, test the patient for tolerance by having him smell the oil!
