Essential Oil Mixtures
Essential Oil mixture for liver care
50 ml jojoba
10 drops lavender essential oil(Lavandula angustifolia)
5 drops Rosemary essential oilverbenone (Rosmarinusofficinalis ct. verbenone)
5 drops bay leaf essential oil (Laurus nobilis)
3 drops Cedar essential oil (Cedrus atlantica)
Please note, that this blend includes single bottles of each respective oil and that it is not a finished blend.
You can use this essential oil mixture directly on the upper abdomen rub. However, it is more effective if you allow yourself a little more time, the the mixture on the abdominal skin in the the liver area, then cover the then cover it with a preheated fleece and finally keep it warm with a hot with a hot water bottle. This type of application with a half an hour rest in bed and a proper resting time offers pure relaxation and the chance to regenerate.
Caution: Do not use on children (<8 y.) and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding!
Essential oils should never be applied undiluted, always mix it with a carrier oil (carrier substance).
If possible, test the patient for tolerance by having him smell the oil!
